Why We Choose Merino
Most knitwear brands start with price and work backward to materials. We started with the question: what fiber performs best across the widest range of conditions?
The answer kept coming back to merino wool — specifically ultrafine merino under 19 microns. It regulates temperature. It resists odor. It washes without felting if you follow basic care. And it holds its shape season after season.
We source from Arles Merino flocks in southern France and spin at a single GOTS-certified mill in Biella, Italy. The supply chain is short, auditable, and deliberately constrained.
